The Grand Central Hotel dominates Belfast’s skyline as the tallest hotel in Ireland. A former 22 storey office block, HMK assisted with the total transformation of the building into Northern Ireland’s largest and most expensively constructed hotel, offering 300 four-star bedrooms, associated restaurant and bar facilities, 18 serviced hotel apartments, together with a retail offering and office space with undercroft parking.

The project involved partial demolition, back-to-core structural refurbishment and new build extension on a constrained city centre site and was delivered with consideration to nearby businesses and government offices.
