Loughry Campus Redevelopment
Hood McGowan Kirk LLP leads a large, multi-disciplinary team in delivering CAFRE’s redevelopment of its Loughry Campus.
This £50m scheme seeks to consolidate the campus around a centralised hub of science facilities, together with integrated learning and social spaces, student and staff accommodation. The redevelopment extends to 12,000sqm and the buildings on completion will achieve both BREEAM Outstanding and Passihaus Premium; the latter a target achieved by only one commercial building in Northern Ireland to date.
